It is the hope and dream of Jacqueline Davis Founder and current President of the First Nations Breast Cancer Society to have a breast cancer lodge specifically for native women and their families to stay at while receiving  treatments in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hopefully the lodge will have six single rooms and two doubles rooms so that the partner can accompany the woman who will be getting treatments. It is the plan to have both native and non-native Doctors and Registered nurse on duty at all times. There will be native breast cancer survivors available if the woman wishes to speak to one. It is the hope and dream of Jacqueline since she was diagnosed with this devastating disease breast cancer in 1990. Jacqueline is a breast cancer survivor of fifteen years. This goal of having a lodge is still very fresh and obtainable for her to reach.
